Course content 

This short update webinar will consider the recent judgment of Senior Judge Hilder in Irwin Mitchell Trust Corporation v PW & Anor [2024] EWCOP 16 (19 March 2024). The judgment considers whether the appointment of an associated financial management practice is an actual or potential conflict of interest and whether that appointment is voidable.  The judgment will be of particular interest to professional deputies with an in-house, or associated, financial management practice (including those with joint venture agreements).
